- Mid week guests wanting a base to travel from to visit i.e. The Cradle of Humankind, Sterkfontein and Wonder Caves, Hartbeespoort Dam etc

Hills & Dales is not suitable for
- People wanting restaurant / pub facilities
- People wanting a Holiday Resort, especially for children
- People wanting 5 star, Sun City type accommodation with all the bells and whistles. We are not graded.
- People wanting reception facilities with personalized and constant attention
- People who are scared of small dogs and black cats!
- People who do not appreciate the odd spider or birds nesting in the passage ways and in the verandahs! We are in the countryside and we do experience the odd snake, spiders, dust, chip in the wall.
- People who wear stilletos.
- People who spend their time here searching for something to complain about.
