This was the most beautiful and awesome place we have ever been at... great pools, clean rooms, absolutely friendly and good service.  We'll definitely visit there again.

We had a friends reunion braai at the Lapa and most of us stayed over.  We booked the Lapa for a private function.  The venue is in Gauteng but the view makes you feel you are in the countryside.  The hosts were amazing, friendly and want you to have a good time.  Most of us slept at the Venue in the Swallow, Hadeda and Starling.  All, again, with a great view. Accommodation was clean and perfect for our needs.  I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a good old bring and braai, and sleep over when you are not able, or want to drive :).  Young and old enjoyed it thoroughly and all my guests had only praise for the chosen Venue.

The place is very nice and super clean. If you want to wake up to a peace and quiet place with an amazing view, Hills and Dales is for you. I enjoyed the pool next to my room I also liked the fact that there's a small braai stand outside my room. I'd def recommend this place to anyone.

Good value for money and stay very close to Joburg, but nice and quiet and relaxed with beautiful views and very peaceful.

Rooms are clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Not affected by loadshedding. The venue is spectacular if you are looking for an escape from the busyness of the city.

The location of the hotel is very close to the Hartbeespoort Dam, and there are many attractions nearby, such as cradle moon, Hartier River Hiking Trail, Lion & Safari Park, Ama Zwing Zwing Zipline, all within 20 minutes by car, and the Dutch village Jasmyn Farm is not far away, the Netherlands The village can purchase fruits, flowers, food, and delicious restaurants. There is a lively market in the north of the dam with live singing, and the pig's feet are also delicious and cheap. The room arrangement is very comfortable. In addition to the bedroom, there is a living room and a kitchen refrigerator. There is also a balcony with outdoor tables and chairs. It feels great to sit outdoors and overlook the endless scenery. The two lovely cats raised by the hotel owner will come to accompany you. Very nice stay experience.

I had the most amazing time.  It is really close and easy to get to. The gravel road isn't bad and the pools are clean and quiet, the gardens are beautiful and well kept, the views are serene and the place we stayed at was perfectly cleaned and had every possible thing we needed.  Hills and Dales will definitely see me again.

The location was perfect, convenient and safe.  I was especially impressed with the quality of the mattress and bedding!
